He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Puski" Russo (Ross) and Joan Ross (Robertson); his siblings, Mike Ross and Patti Ogea; and his siblings-in-law, Bob, Dick, Jug, Dennis, Jack Bourdeau, Lucy, Bernice and Patricia Bourdeau.

He is survived by: his wife Susie Ross of Escanaba; his pet Axl; his children, Angela Van Stavern (Chris) of Boerne, TX, Brenda Adiska (Edward) of Escanaba, Michelle Noggle (Jeffery) of Gladstone and Buddy Blahnik (Amy) of Escanaba; his grandchildren, Cager, Karli Van Stavern, Hunter Smith, Connor, Dean, Evan, Madelyn Blahnik, Harper Adiska, Taylor, Lindsey Thompson, Jasmin, Kylian and Josslynn Noggle; his sisters, Diane Morris (Jeff) and Kathy Ross of Marquette, MI; and his siblings-in-law, Denise Ross of Lower Michigan, Patsy Mathe, Judy Lippold (Mark), Janet Bourdeau, Cathy Bordeau and Jim Bourdeau of Escanaba. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gladstone Knights of Columbus Hall.
