William will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Johnson and Thelma Johnson; his brother Kent Johnson; and his great-niece Kambria Grenfell. He is survived by: his daughter Marti Alan (Andrew Gish); his wife Amy Johnson; his grandchildren, Sage and Dylan Dimitrievich; and his daughter Paxton Johnson (Nick Aird). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (2200 Ludington St, Escanaba, MI 49829). The military honors was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 3:15 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (202 S 11th St, Escanaba, MI 49829).
