With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William George Nelson of Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on July 17, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Berthil Nelson and Marie Nelson (Groff); his wife Janice Ann Perron; his son William Nelson; and his sister Mary Lee Ambroz.
He is survived by: his children, David Nelson (Tina) of Bronson, MI, Rena Nelson-Arnhoelter (Rod) of Florence, WI, Laurelle Woller (Doug) of Shingleton, MI and Mary Belen (Bill) of Munising, MI; his daughter-in-law Jeanette Costa-Nelson of Pismo Beach, CA; his brother John Nelson (Donna) of Goleta, CA; his grandchildren, Ashley, Brandon, Jayme, Christina, Marylynn, Joshua, Michael, Katherine, Samantha and Sarah; and his friend Betty Pearson. He is also survived by his numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
