He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vanas and Joyce Vanas (Luhrs); his wife Linda; his son Eric; and his granddaughter Heather.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Vanas Jr., Joy Vanas and Wendy (Amber); his grandchildren, Brittany (Cesar), Sage (Miguel), Cassidy, Christopher, Buck (Allison) and Angel; his great grandchildren, Daniel, Scarlett, Mabel, Dominic, Evie, Jasper, Noah, Franklin and Henry; and his siblings, Susie (Ray), Sharon, Karen (Steve) and Babe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
