He is survived by: his children, Richard Carothers (Mary Douglas) of Berrien Springs, Douglas Carothers (Leisa Massie) of Sears and Karren Keena of Evart; his grandchildren, Kacey Lyon (Jeffery) of Evart, Beverly Street (Aram) of Paris, KY and Joseph Castillo (Jessica) of North; his great grandchildren, Landon, Brayson, Annelie, Gracie, Callie, Brantley, Emmaleigh, Vaughn, Audrey, Adeline, Henry, Camren, Samantha, Jordyn, Emery, Liam, Mallory, Layla and Brennan Tillie; his brothers, Bill Carothers of Florida and Harold Carothers of Florida; and his sisters-in-law, Mickey Head of Evart, Janet Walls of Colbert, GA and LaVerne Crissman of Leesburg, FL.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM and at 4:00 PM. The military honors will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Forest Hill Cemetery (6 Mile Rd, Evart, MI 49631).
