We bid farewell to Ima Jane Slabaugh of Evart, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 1, 2026 at the age of 90. Ima Jane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Boatwright and Stella Boatwright (Dukes); her siblings, Alla Lorraine Denyer (Jack) and James Boatwright (Geraldine); the father of her children Richard Ayres (James Slabaugh); and her grandson Richard James Ayres.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Ayres (Kathy) of Clarkston, Douglas Ayres (Judy Barrette) of Ortonville, Daniel Ayres (Diane Dorow) of Fowlerville, Matthew Ayres (Barbara) and Cynthia Ayres of Evart; and her granddaughter Molly Hohman. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
