He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Forbes and Ethel Forbes (Vanderhoef); his wife Judy M. Forbes; and his siblings, Doreen Dellar, Deloris Malcolm and Ray Forbes.
He is survived by: his sons, Jerome and Jason Forbes of Big Rapids; and his sister Dorothea Haynes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
