He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Hicks; his stepfather Wayne Clawson; and his grandfathers, Roscoe Sweat (Hylie) and Matthew Hicks (Joe). He is survived by: his close friend Christie Bunker; his children, Scott Michael Hicks II (Courtney Lincoln) of Grand Lake, Michael Gregory Hicks of Fraser and Angela Lynn Schultz of Saginaw, Mi; his grandchildren, Addison Morgan, Easton Ryder, Delaney Rose and Colton Davis Schultz; his mother Lucy Clawson (Sweat); his uncle Dick Sweat; his aunt Barb Sweat; his half-brother Greg Hicks; and his stepsiblings, Tonya Forbes (Mingo) and Quincy Kadwell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Corey Funeral Home (415 N Main St, Evart, MI 49631). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Woodland Cemetery (438 Jerome St, Monroe, MI 48161).
