Sheldon left this world on May 25, 2026 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Sheldon may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sheldon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sheldon P. Handy and Helen Handy (Irwin); his wife Barbara L. Aubry; his granddaughters, Michelle Mangold and Deanna Jerore; his sister Beverly Blalock; and his half-brother Paul Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Naber (Jim) of Holland, Kathryn Lynch (Charles) of Reed City, Sherrie Williams (Steve) of Redford, Paul Handy (Merlyn) and Arthur Handy of Pinckney. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, extended family.
