He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Steffek and Alice Steffek (VanHove); his wife Marjorie Obertein; his sister Virginia Hensel (Raymond); and his daughter-in-law Lisa Steffek.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Steffek (Susan), Mike Steffek (Cheryl), Tim Steffek and Julie Steffek; his grandchildren, Jennifer Storm (Kevin), Staci Steffek, Brandon Steffek (Nikki), Kelly Walz (Paul), Brent Steffek, Matthew Steffek (Carolyn), Ashley Cruz (Noah), Brandi Robinson (Josh) and Lacey Steffek; his great grandchildren, Hope, Brayden, Sofia, Chloe, Zachary, Abbigail, Annabelle, Tyler, Logan, Ryan, Ellie, Alice and Karter; his great great grandchildren, Maverick, Cora, Kyler and Ryker; and his niece Karen Weiss (Randy).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Jude Thaddeus Parish (614 Pine St, Essexville, MI 48732).
