He was predeceased by : his parents, Ray Laursen and Gladys Laursen (Brady); his parents-in-law, Dave and Emma Ackerman; his son-in-law David Coronado; and his brothers-in-law, David Ackerman and Ed Ackerman.

He is survived by : his wife Sharon; his children, Debra Haebler (Rich), Diane Coronado, Laura Mowry (Tim) and Brent Laursen (Stacey); his grandchildren, Jensen (Tabitha), Matt (Talia), Jennifer (Jay), Kayla (Grant), Rachel (Steve), Brianne, Jacob, Nathan, Joel, Abbie and Noah; his brother Larry Laursen (Barbara); and his siblings-in-law, Scott Ackerman (Beth) and Charlotte Ackerman. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
