It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doyle V Troyer of Fairview, Michigan, born in Atlanta, Michigan, who passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, David Troyer (Davey Troyer) and Edna Troyer (Gascho); his sister Melba Handrich; his niece Veronica Handrich; and his friend Sy Yoder.

He is survived by : his son Doyle Troyer; his wife Peggy Smith; his children, Darrin (Jill), Alesia Genow (Duane), Melony Haskin (Don) and Stacy Nolan; his grandchildren, Spencer Genow (Brianne), Shannon Genow, Megan Roach (Adam), Alora Ehlert (Kevin), Aaron Haskin, David Haskin (Alissa), Kiersten Nolan, Derek Nolan and Luke Nolan; his great grandchildren, Noah Blades, Jaye Genow, Arra Erbe, Jadyn Ehlert, Zella Roach, Parker Genow, Charlotte Ehlert, Cooper Genow, Alden Roach and Hazel Ehlert; and his great great grandchild Elias Blades.

“Thinking of you and your family Peggy. I always enjoyed talking with Doyle when I saw him. He always had a smile on his face and was interested in what you had to share. He was a fun guy to be around. I always enjoyed listening to dad and him share stories. I will miss him but have many fond memories. My deepest sympathies and condolences.”
