He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl DeKam and Betty DeKam; and his brother Bruce DeKam. He is survived by: his wife Dana McCrimmon (McCrimmon); his stepdaughter Kayla Park (Sean Oswald); his grandsons, Nicholas, Jayce Verlotti, Kayden and Addalynn Oswald; his siblings, Carol Netz (Dan) of Grand Rapids, Bonnie VanHouten (James) of Cadillac, Steven DeKam (Mary), David DeKam (Esther) and Daniel DeKam (Mona) of Falmouth; and his sister-in-law Mary DeKam (Ebels). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
