Alan Ablitz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Ablitz of Farmington Hills, Michigan, who passed away on February 15, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Eder and Bert Ablitz; and his stepfather Herbert Eder. He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Lewis); his sister Amy Ablitz; his sons, Brian (Mattie Nawrocki) and Joshua Ablitz (Kristen Ringel); and his grandchildren, Ariah, Ezra, Dylan and Sydney Ablitz.
INTERMENT: Adat Shalom Memorial Park SHIVA: The family will observe Shiva at the home of: Amy Ablitz, 2217 Charms Ravine Dr. Wixom, MI 48393, Tuesday and Wednesday 5:30-7:30 PM, Religious services will be held at 6:00 PM CONTRIBUTIONS: To honor Alan Ablitz, you may donate to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
