He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wives, Katherine Herrick (Helper) and Flora Herrick; and his sister Ruby Brehm. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Fabian Catholic Church (32200 W 12 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48334). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St Fabian Catholic Church (32200 W 12 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48334).
