He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene Kessler; and his parents, Monroe Kessler and Freda Kessler. He is survived by: his partner Soozee Alterman; and his daughter Andrea Kessler (Chris Krause). He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dorfman Chapel- Main Chapel. A shiva was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, July 17th 2025.
