He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederic Clapp and Mary Margaret Clapp (Dever); his former wife Barbara June Clapp; and his sister Marilyn Newton. He is survived by: his wife Gloria "Jeanie" Clapp; his daughter Lisa Rene Jaissle of Frederick, Maryland; his stepchildren, Cary Baker (Joanie) of Michigan, Becky Smith of Mooresville and Cindy Janssen of Indianapolis; and his grandchildren, Cameron, Amanda and Shannon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
