She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Delfgauw and Lucy Delfgauw (Sherman); and her siblings, Frederick Delfgaw (late Jean), Lillian Ball (late Jack), Fran Aughton (late Alfred), Robert Delfgauw (Sue), Albert Stebner, Marion Delfgauw and Annie Krise (late James).
She is survived by: her husband Jack McCarthy; her children, Jeffrey McCarthy (Angela) and Buff Donovan (Thomas); her granddaughter Ceara Donovan; and also Catherine.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Humane Society, a cause dear to Catherine's heart.
