He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Burns and Mary Burns (Nagel); his sister Mercedes Magee; and his son Matthew Burns. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ryan; his children, Kathleen Burns, Maureen Kowalski (Rob) and Timothy E. Burns; and his grandchildren, Grace Kowalski, Emmett Kowalski, Aidan Kowalski, Samantha Glazer, Sydney Glazer and Lola Burns. He is also survived by siblings, nieces and nephews and friends.
Memorial tributes are suggested to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in memory of Matthew Burns.
