Hiroko leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Hiroko’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Hiroko will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mituo and Miiko Ohta (Hashimoto); her brother Aseo Ohta; and her granddaughter Erica Taylor (Harvey). She is survived by: her siblings, Sachie Yamazaki (Yousuke) and Katsumi Ohta (Kumiko); and her children, Donald Edward Ferguson (Sylvia) of Texas, Kay Harvey (David) of Clare, Bill Ferguson (Tammy) of Stanton, Robert Ferguson (Brenda) of Holland, Dawn Delaney of Farwell and Glen Ferguson of Farwell. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Brown Corners United Brethren Church (5540 S Clare Ave, Clare, MI 48617).
