With sadness, we share the passing of John Henry Wischmeyer of Farwell, Michigan. John Henry, born on May 12, 1946, passed away on October 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Wischmeyer and Victor Wischmeyer; his stepfather Richard Clevenger; his siblings, Daniel C. Wischmeyer, Evelyn and Linda Wischmeyer; and his daughter Gina Wischmeyer.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Dale Richardson; his daughters, Mindy Wischmeyer, Sheri Noordhof and Jodi Wischmeyer; his grandchildren, Cade Wischmeyer Taylor (Madi Smith) and Jackson Cotter; his sister Pat Machuta (Mike) of Mount Pleasant; his uncle Bob Wischmeyer (Donna) of Rockford; his stepdaughter Karen Esterline (Alan); his grandchildren, Lindsay and Mason Esterline of Farwell; his in-law Dale Richardson (Elaine) of Clare; his friends, Lyman Mead (Barb), Butch Arthur, Jack McCormick and Leicia Green Griffin; Arend Smith (Nancy). He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Stephenson - Wyman Funeral Home (165 S Hall St, Farwell, MI 48622). The military honors will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
