He was predeceased by: his father Gary Lee DeMond; and his close friend Stacy Coleman. He is survived by: his mother Jeannette Marie Johnson; his brothers, Craig and Nicholas DeMond (Tiwonge); his former spouses, Carla Stone and Billie DeMond; his children, Autumn Van Kirk, Ryan DeMond and Chelsea Fish (Jacob); and his grandchildren, Malcolm, June and Opal Fish.
