He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert and Lenora Jean "Jo"; and his brothers, James Darrell and Gary. He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Payne (Jessica), Michele Overweg and Michael Lynema; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Jackson and Espen; and his sisters, Brenda Dunavin (Mark) and LaDonna McFarland. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
