With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jason Smit (Fennville, Michigan), born in Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on May 9, 2020 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Robert Smit (Bonnie). He is survived by : his mother Bonnie Olson Fleming of Battle Creek; his brothers, Timothy Smit of Battle Creek and Joe Smit of Illinois; and his nieces and nephews, Crick (Kristin), Adam Smit of Illinois, Monica and Sarah Skopick.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's research Hospital or the Humane Society of South Central Michigan.
