Arthur Robert Hitchings Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Robert Hitchings of Fenton, Michigan, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Irene Hitchings (Brown) and Gerald Hitchings; and his brother Gerald Hitchings. He is survived by: his wife Terry Lynn Caverly; his children, Robert Arthur Hitchings (Mary) of Fenton and Kathy Hitchings of Belleville; his grandchildren, Lily and Gavin Hitchings; his siblings, Elizabeth Hall of Tennessee, Beatrice Moore (Rich) of Tennessee, Glenn Hitchings (Betsy) of Marion and Margaret Mattson (John) of Swartz Creek; and his nephew William Bowling. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel (1000 W Silver Lake Rd, Fenton, MI 48430). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
