He is survived by: his wife Diana Callaghan; his son Nathan Callaghan (Cassandra); his stepson Justin Hitsman (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Gabrielle Wensley (Jonathon), Kealy Callaghan, Brooke Sanders (Tyler), Jessica Callaghan, Claire Callaghan, Alison Callaghan, Amanda Rydberg (Sho), Colton Carson, Wyatt Carson, Paige Callaghan, Ben Hitsman, Karleigh Hitsman and Haley Hitsman; and his siblings, Sydney Stone, Cece Callaghan and Patrick Callaghan. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Fenton Chapel (1000 W Silver Lake Rd, Fenton, MI 48430). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
