She was predeceased by : her husband Lewis; her parents, Charles Ayers and Sallie Ayers of Sandstone; and her siblings, Ruby Kessler of Lansing, MI, Charles, Grover, Edward, Jennings, Fred, Kenneth and John Robert.

She is survived by : her daughter Deborah; her granddaughter Tamara Tucker of North Adams, MI.; her brother Gene Ayers (Beatrice) of Beckley; her sister-in-law Lorene Ayers of Grand Ledge; and her nieces, Peggy Williams of Covington, VA. and Shirley Folkersen of Dayton, KY..
