He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Anthony Heron (Jean), Douglas Heron (Krist), James Heron (Cynthia), Marcia Guilliat (Tom) and Michael Heron (Christine); his grandchildren, Jacqueline Teffner (Mark), Jennifer Heron, Joseph Heron, Alexandra Heron, Johnny Heron (Kari), Stephanie Chappelle (Kyle), James Heron (Savanna), Michael Heron, Jay Guilliat, Katherine Faculak (Talon), Danielle Gillim (Austin), Matthew Heron and Andrew Heron; his great grandchildren, Gavin Teffner, Madelyn Teffner, Jadah Briggs, Brody Briggs and Alyssa Heron; and his siblings, Edwin Heron (Nancy) and Nina Bouchard.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A prayer will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Fenton Chapel (1000 W Silver Lake Rd, Fenton, MI 48430). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (600 N Adelaide St, Fenton, MI 48430).
