He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Carol Ann (Eric Sidney Swanson); children: Jeff (Tammy) Swanson and Jill (Steve) Dean; grandchildren: Erika, Fraser, Logan (Heather) and Giorgi; great-grandchildren: Lachlan and Camden; half-sisters: Diane (Al) Matthewson and Denise Geddes; half-brother: Dale Geddes; parents: Eric Gustaf and Edith Madline (Keyser) Swanson; sisters: Ann Ervin and Karen Allis; grandson: Tyler Swanson; dear friends: Carl Liepmann, Nancy (Pete) Chargo and Marge (Ree) Brady; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Caterer Family Funeral Home (307 E Main St, Flushing, MI 48433). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society.
