He was predeceased by : his father Jerry Lynn Carney. He is survived by : his wife Nichole; his children, Corbin Lund (Taylor), Chaz Leek (Liz) and Breanna Carney; his grandchildren, Brinley, Landen, Rachel, Aliyah and Saoirse; his mother Margaret Carney Wall; his brother Jon Carney (Christine); and his friend Dennis Leek. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Fenton Chapel (1000 W Silver Lake Rd, Fenton, MI 48430). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
