He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold John, Sr. and Hannah McDowell (Wright); and his sister Sharon Davis. He is survived by: his children, Andrew McDowell (Michelle) of Laingsburg, Thomas McDowell of Fenton and Sarah Salerno (Stephen) of Northville; his grandchildren, Andrew, Katlyn (Joe), Nicolle (Collin), Connor Liam (Cassie), Hannah-Marie (Ben), Tabitha, Quinn, Keira, Anthony and Marcus; his great grandchildren, Kaiden, Solstice, Forrest, Lafayette, Miles and Atlas; and his sister Jolene McDowell of Texas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
