He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Golembiewski and Bernice Golembiewski (Karazim); and his wife Joan S. Nowinski. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Garfield (Mary) of Gaylord, Dr. James Garfield (Linda) of Fenton, June Garfield Ryan of Fenton and Joan Garfield Cox (Charles) of Fenton; and his sister Dorothy Kott. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
