She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence and Lucy Hamp; her husband Clifford Asplund; and her siblings, Wallace Hamp, Bettie Borg, Edna Marshall and Kate Church.

She is survived by: her children, Donna Osterwyk (Steve), Deena Ackley (Randy), David and Darrin (Candice); her grandchildren, Carri Thomas (Ryan), Kevin Jarrett (Mandy), Jeremy (Elena), Joshua Ackley (Ellie), Carlie Asplund (Chase Jenkins) and Chad Asplund; her great grandchildren, Isabelle and Remington; and her great great grandchild Abigail. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Contributions may be made to the Transfiguration Lutheran Church.
