She was predeceased by: her parents, John Okoniewski and Lottie Okoniewski; and her brother Jack Okoniewski. She is survived by: her significant other Andrew Popovich; her children, Linda (Walter Barkey) of Fenton and Andrew Popovich II of Flushing; her grandchildren, Amanda Pontes (David Pontes) of Pleasant Ridge, Jonathan Barkey of Hong Kong, Nina Stramer of Auburn Hills and Chloe Whitson (Frank) of Grand Blanc; her great grandchildren, Nadia, Sylvia, Victor Pontes, Angelina Stramer and Christopher Sharp; her nephews, Michael and Mark Okoniewski; and her niece Andrea Nickerson.
