She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Brown and Odelia Brown (Roumpz); her husband Daniel Ellis Cartwright; her great grandchild Nicholas Alan "Bean" Smart; and her brother Gilbert Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Cartwright of Alabama, Deborah Brewer of Brighton, Darrell Cartwright of Fenton and William Cartwright (Holly Vik) of Linden; her siblings, Kathy Klopp of North Carolina, Estelle Oliver (Scott) of Troy, Ralph Wayne Brown of Arizona, Mark Brown (Gale) of Howell and Paul Brown (Lori) of Byron; and her sister-in-law Jeanette Staschke of Detroit. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
