She was predeceased by: her parents, Blake Carpenter and Rita Carpenter (Bargerstock); her husband Charles DeWitt; her son Blake DeWitt; her siblings, Beverly Smith and Kenneth Carpenter; her grandson David Johnson; and her great grandchild Oliver Klimkiewicz.
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Rivette (Stephen); her daughter-in-law Candice DeWitt; her grandchildren, Alexandra Coleman (Kenneth), Christina MacDonald (Timothy), Gabrielle Beatty (Tyler), Doni Guertin (Peter), Elizabeth Klimkiewicz (Justin) and Charles DeWitt (Remi); and her sister Joan Mumby. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
