He is survived by: his wife Joan Vivian McAfee; his sons, Carl Johnston (Donna) of Marlboro, MA and Phillip Johnston (Chona) of Grand Blanc; his grandchildren, Daniel Johnston of Grand Blanc, Steven Johnston of Davison, Ashley Johnston of Westland, Dylan Johnston of Flint, Charlene Asis of Grand Blanc and Amari Johnston of Grand Blanc; and his great grandchildren, Vincent, Nova and River. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
