He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hubert Simpson Sr. and Frances Eleanor Simpson (Zann); his brother Richard Hubert Simpson Jr.; and his daughter Kelly Lyons. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Robert Craig Simpson Jr. and Julie Ann Rudy (Dan); his grandchildren, Shannon Frieze (Brett), Savannah Simpson, Sean Simpson and Sawyer Simpson; his sister Mary Williams (Ted); his sibling's children, Jan, Mark, Amy and Jeff; Bella.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Fenton Chapel (1000 W Silver Lake Rd, Fenton, MI 48430). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 30th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
