She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Brissette and Beryl Brissette (Jackson); her husband John "Jerry" King; and her brother Thomas Brissette. She is survived by: her children, Janet Nagy (Bill), Peter King, Robert King (April) and Nancy Galea (Jeff); and her grandchildren, Brad, Kristen (Anton), Joely, Elizabeth, Katelyn, Emily (Jon), David and Jeremy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Innocents Chapel at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (600 N Adelaide St, Fenton, MI 48430). A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel (1000 W Silver Lake Rd, Fenton, MI 48430).

She participated in the Knitting-Crocheting Ministry at the parish and found joy in creating unique throws and prayer shawls to donate.
