She was predeceased by : her parents, Edgar Adkins and Hazel Adkins (Miller); and her brother Charlie Adkins. She is survived by : her husband Norman Joseph Montpas; her daughter Sarah Montpas; and her sister Cynthia Cherveny (Frank). She is also survived by many in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Fenton Chapel (1000 W Silver Lake Rd, Fenton, MI 48430). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
