He was predeceased by: his parents, Ace B. Varney and Jean Varney (LaBelle); and his wife Deborah Witt. He is survived by: his children, Erik Varney (Emily) of Flint, Rachael Varney-Bandy of Flint and Regina Varney of Lapeer; his grandchildren, Chaze Jones (Samantha), Hailey Varney, Jonas Melton, James Varney, Libby Sigsby, EllyMay Sigsby and Kathleen Varney; his great grandchildren, Carter Jones, Xabrie and Octavia Jones; and his sisters, Marsha Mullaly and Joanne Varney-Kondrat. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
