He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cleis and Marian Cleis (Glinski). He is survived by: his wife Nancy L. Heinlen; his sons, Terrence George "Terry" Cleis, Jr. (Ji) of Fenton, John Alexander Cleis (Lydia) of Mt. Joy, PA, Calvin Robert Cleis (Jennifer) of Phoenix, AZ, Eric Charles Cleis (Shannon) of Elyria, OH and Adam Benjamin Cleis (Katie) of Mentor, OH; his siblings, Robert "Bo" Cleis (Linda) of Medina, OH, Charles "Chuck" Cleis of Moon Township, PA and Sharon Parker (Bruce) of Norman, OK; and his brother-in-law Dan Heinlen (Gelene) of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
