She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Gordon Pitman; her parents, Edward Harvey and Rose Elizabeth Britt (Jack G. Pitman); and her brother Bishop Kevin Britt. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Davis (Todd) of Perry, MI, Linda Hicks (Joe) of Holiday, FL, Angela Toppings of Singapore and Steve Pitman (Kim) of Fenton. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
Virginia especially supported local pregnancy centers, Coats for Kids, and the American Cancer Society.
