Betty Shaw Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Shaw of Fenwick, Michigan, who passed away on August 16, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Houghton and Norva Houghton (Weaver); her former life partner Glenn Roop; her siblings, Barb Roop, Bill Houghton and Milo Houghton; and her son-in-law Dave Doty.

She is survived by : her husband Bob Shaw; her children, Sally Brautigam (Dave) of South Boardman, Charlene Doty of Kingsley, Susan Bowen (Dave) of Alabama, Glen Roop (Pam) of Kingsley, John Roop (Pam) of Florida, Eric Shaw (Denise) of Greenville and Kent Shaw of Greenville; her grandchildren, Josh Brautigam (Courtney), James Brautigam (Silver), Jason Brautigam (Teresa), Jeromy Brautigam (Nicole), Jenifer Wolf (Justin), Rick Doty (Mary), Casie Summerfield (Ben), Jessie Bott (Dave), Amiee Erfourth (Dan), Chad Roop, Jess Lewis, Chad Lewis, Mitchell Shaw, Kelsie Shaw, Serena Allen, Samantha Mitchell (Gary) and Caroline Cantu; and her siblings, Velma Parker of Owosso, Pat Jacobs of Lansing and Earl Houghton of Traverse City. She is also survived by grandkid, great grandkid, and many other family members.
