He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph William and Mildred Rose Cole (Evans); his sisters, Kathyn Joy Cole and Gayla Gladding; his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Worthington, Alan Adgate and Jane Chun; and his nephews, Randy Gladding and Tarian Worthington.

He is survived by : his wife Colette Cole of Fenwick; his daughter Stephanie (Matthew Bour); his stepchildren, Lisa Sayers of Saranac and Chris Sayers of Ionia; his grandson Elric Bour; his stepgranddaughter Andrea Sayers; his siblings, Virginia Worthington, Wayne, Kitty Cole, Kathy and Ray Batchelor; and his brother-in-law Albert Chun.
