She was loved and cherished by many people including : her brother Paul McGimpsey (Rachael) of Mount Pleasant; her parents, William McGimpsey and Bernadine McGimpsey (Brandow); her father-in-law Paul Jeffers; and her former life partner William Bissell of Belding. She was also cherished by her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins.
