He was predeceased by: his parents, Seymour Forbing and Irene Forbing (Perdue); his stepmother Mary Forbing (Armstead); his siblings, Seymour (Judy), Robert, Paul, Beverly Deeg (Harold), June Jackson, Emma Goyette (Tom) and Betty Forbing; his brother-in-law Robert Finkbeiner; his stepsister Nancy Armstead; his brother-in-law John Mainguy; and his great grandchild Jace.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Kosinski; his children, John Jr. (Debbie) of Saginaw, Jeff (Heather) of Pinconning, Darrin (Angie) of Filion and Kim Forbing (Tyler Samons); his grandchildren, Zachary, Rylee, Skylar, Tyler, Hailey, Brennan, Lucas, Mason, Rosalie and Clara; his great grandchild Peyton; his siblings, Charlie (Gayle), Dan, Edwin (Joann), Thomas (Hanne), Randy (Wendy), Neva Finkbeiner and Barbara Peck (Jack); his sister-in-law Susan Nazem; and his stepsiblings, Ruthie Mainguy, Larry Armstead (Beth) and Dave Armstead (Barb). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sebewaing Township Hall.
