He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Swauger and Dora Boyer (Mathias); and his brother Jerry Elliott. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Swauger; his children, Tracie Swauger, Wendy Crowley (Mike Smith) and David Swauger; his grandchildren, Adam Swauger (Shannon), Whit Hatton (Taylor) and Jessica Crowley (Zachary Szobonya); his great grandchildren, Cameron, Grant, Drew, Jackson and Kaden; and his siblings, James Swauger (Lisa), John Moore (Sigrid) and Maria Sperry (Lou).
