He is survived by: his wife Mary Hicks; his children, Veronica Patrick, Edward Hicks, Tammy Murdock, Lenora Hicks, Tonia Nolan and Ricky Hicks; his grandchildren, Rondel Root, Jonathon Root, Timothy Root, Quinn Hicks, Robert Hicks, Josie Hicks, Charlee Hicks, Waylan Hicks, Donny Patrick, Scott Patrick, Josh Patrick, Mariah Cook, Aubree Nolan, Erica Mendez and Jarrett Brewer; and his siblings, Versa Duncan, Mary Wright and Betty Hicks.
