He is survived by: his wife Linda Gierlack; his children, Dawn Hawley (AJ) and Ryan Gierlack; his grandsons, Austin (Meah), Alex and Abel; his siblings, Colleen Dwenger (Doug), Madonna Bernard (Alan) and Stanley Gierlack; and his pet Sparky.
